As of June 2017, Buon Gusto was launched servicing to our special guests in Harrogate. We would like to be “Iconic” Italian Restaurant, ensuring each guest receives prompt, professional, friendly and courteous service.
This restaurant prides itself on its menu being fresh, organic, with the food being prepared in a simple manner from our kitchen with a traditional (authentic) style in order to satisfy our customers’ heart and soul.
The love and passionate for real Italian food has made us cook what we have eaten back home in Italy.
Gianluca and our team of chefs are led by art of food who is trained and gained an expert skills in Italian food. Buon Gusto bringing a proper Italian food to Harrogate.

Gamberoni Conca d’oro
Tiger prawns pan fried in a garlic herb, chili, white wine and lobster sauce. Served with warm homemade bread.
Gnocchi ai quarto formaggi (V)
Homemade gnocchi with a parmesan, taleggio, dolcelatte and scamorza cheese sauce.
Capesante terra furoris
King scallops wrapped with smoked pancetta and pan fried. Served on a bed of pea puree and topped with toasted breadcrumbs.
Layers of egg pasta baked in a rich meat sauce, mozzarella cheese and a creamy béchamel sauce.
Prime cut beef fillet cooked in a red wine and marsala sauce. Topped with homemade pâté and whole mushrooms.
Gnocchi Sorrentina (V)
Homemade gnocchi with tomato, basil and mozzarella sauce.
Astice con linguine
Half a lobster cooked with garlic and a pinch of chilli. Then flambéed with brandy and tomato. Served with linguine.
Pan fried sirloin with banana shallots and wild mushrooms in a prosecco sauce with a dash of cream.

Potato, aubergine, peppers, tomato, onions and chili
Filetto alla griglia
Prime cut fillet of beef served with grilled mushrooms and tomatoes or pepper sauce
Branzino in crosta di patate
Sea bass fillet, seared in olive oil, garlic herbs and white wine, topped with thinly sliced potatoes and baked
Penne puglia (VG)
Penne pasta served with black olives, broccoli, a hint of chilli and bread crumbs

“ The dining room is very tastefully decorated and both the service and food was of a very experienced and high quality. I was particularly pleased to find actual vegan options on the menu, whilst I'm not actually strictly a vegan, I prefer to eat that food as I don't eat meat and I'm dairy intolerant , although I occasionally do eat fish and there were one or two fish options I liked the look of too. The pizza selection looked lovely and,being a Vegan friendly restaurant, I wonder if chef would maybe consider a vegan cheese option too in the future ? 'Violife' do a great pizza 'cheese' which is 100% vegan and much better than ordering without conventional cheese ! All in all a lovely night out , delicious food and wine and lovely staff, I hope they do well, we'll certainly be back soon x ”
